Annual Exhibit of Adult Students’ Art

Every year, adult students from The Arts of Great Falls school submit their original art for an exhibit with their peers in the Gallery.  The show is juried and awards given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place and Honorable Mention.

Eligibility
Any adult student who has taken a class or workshop in the previous calendar year is eligible to participate. Students may submit up to 2 pieces.  

Schedule
Exhibit Dates: August 18- September 5, 2020
Open Hours: Saturdays, 12 noon-1pm or upon request [One group at a time in the Gallery with masks required]
Due to COVID 19 Requirements, there will be no in-person reception for this event. There will possibly be a Zoom reception announcing awards. 

Art Drop Off
TOUCHLESS DROP OFF — Drop off up to 2 pieces of art either
Sunday, August 16, 11am-1pm OR
Monday, August 17 from 10-11 am. 
At drop, it will be one artist at a time, so you will be the only person in the school.

Art Requirements
-All work must be framed or gallery wrap canvas ready to hang, securely wired on back approximately 1/4 of the way down from the top, so hooks do not show.  Drawings must be mounted on black card stock (available at Michael’s)
-Students must have been enrolled in a class at the The Arts of Great Falls School in the 2019 calendar year.
-Work created outside of class is permitted but must be original not a copy.
-Work submitted may not have been entered in a previous student exhibit.

TAG INFO on the back must have the following-
1). Your Name
2). Title of the piece
3). Instructor and the class name
4). The size and media, i.e. oil on canvas, charcoal on paper
5). The price, if you would like to put it up for sale

SEND IMAGES
Please forward images of submitted artwork to school@greatfallsart.org to be included in the online art gallery and show promotion.
