Annual Exhibit of Adult Students’ Art
For over 10 years, adult students from The Arts of Great Falls school have submitted their original art for an exhibit with their peers in the gallery. The show is juried and awards given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place and Honorable Mention. The annual Adult Student Art Show tradition continues in 2021!
Any adult student who has taken a class or workshop in the previous calendar year can participate. This year’s show will also include students who took in classes in 2019, 2020 and 2021. Students may submit up to 2 pieces.
Exhibit Dates: April 3 – May 7
Open Hours: TBD Saturdays, or upon request [One group at a time in the Gallery with masks required]
Art Drop Off
Sunday, March 28 (noon-2pm), Thursday, April 1 (noon-2pm), Saturday, April 3 (noon-2pm) At drop off, artists should distance and wear a mask. You may also drop off with only you in the studio. Please email us indicating the day you will drop off and how many pieces, and any requests for a solo drop off.
-All work must be framed or gallery wrap canvas ready to hang, securely wired on back approximately 1/4 of the way down from the top, so hooks do not show. Drawings must be mounted on black card stock (available at Michael’s)
-Students must have taken a class with the The Arts of Great Falls School in the 2019, 2020 or 2021 calendar years. Either in-person or online.
-Work created outside of class is permitted but must be original not a copy.
-Work submitted may not have been entered in a previous student exhibit.
Tag Info on the back must have the following-
1). Your Name
2). Title of the piece
3). Instructor and the class name
4). Size and Medium (e.g. oil on canvas, pastels on paper)
5). Price (if it is for sale) or NFS (if not for sale)
