Wednesdays  9:30am–12:30pm |  5 Weekly Sessions In-Person in JJ’s Studio

We are thrilled to offer this in-person class in instructor JJ Singh’s newly renovated and expanded home studio in Great Falls.  This Intermediate metal clay class explores various ways to design and make custom fine silver keepsakes such as a monogrammed signet ring, family crest pendant, cipher cufflinks, charms, and more. Don’t be intimidated by digital design! You will learn the how to use Silhouette Software (laptop and external mouse required) and Adobe Draw to design your personal Coat of Arms which will then be etched into metal clay with extreme precision using the Curio Cutting machine. You will learn hollow form fabrication techniques, slab construction, and many more metal clay tips and tricks to make your customized keepsakes.  Previous experience with metal clay is helpful, but not required.

Supply List:
Metal Clay toolkit (roller, scalpel, blender, etc)
Personal laptop with external mouse (track pad will not be sufficient)
Pencil and sketchbook

Cost is $300 for the class and a $150 materials fee which includes 1 pack of metal clay (50 grams). Fine Silver isn’t cheap!  Additional metal clay can be purchased in class as needed.
