Jewelry Making & Design | An Introduction to Silver Metal Clay

Local Jeweler JJ Singh will open her studio to new beginning students interested in exploring the world of metal clay and its design possibilities. The 6-week, intensive introduction to silver metal clay* will cover basic techniques including rolling, stamping, cutting, forming, sanding and finishing. Projects will include constructing a hollow form pendant, designing and making custom clasps and connections, hand carved rings, and more. The materials fee is $125 and includes complete silver metal clay toolkit and 25g of silver. Additional silver may be required and can be purchased in class.

Artist JJ Singh was one of the first instructors to be certified in PMC through the Rio Grande Certification program. JJ has been working with metal clay since 2002 and has been teaching classes through The Arts of Great Falls School and her home studio for the past 10 years. website
