Jewelry Making in Metal Clay and Beyond

Prerequisite: Introduction to Metal Clay I or similar experience
In this class, we will explore more advanced precious metal clay techniques and incorporate mixed media. We will learn how to create movement in jewelry using different types of connections. We will play with PMC paper, PMC syringe, stamp making, stone setting, resin, leather, and much more! Moderate experience with metal clay is required for this class. Students are expected to bring their own basic tool kits to class.
Materials fee is $95 and covers studio materials and includes a 25 gram package of PMC3. Additional PMC can be purchased in class at market pricing. Class Fee $300
Local jeweler JJ Singh was one of the first instructors to be certified in PMC through the Rio Grande Certification program. JJ has been working with metal clay since 2002 and has been teaching classes through The Arts of Great Falls School and her home studio for the past 10 years.
