Perspective in Paintings

May 12 - June 16

$225

WEDNESDAYS  |  5 Sessions  IN-PERSON   [No Class May 19th]
10am to 12:30pm

Want to learn about perspective in a painting?  Want to paint a city scape, or two barns, or an Alexandria street?  Want to get the right perspective inside of a barn or with apples on a table?  This is the class for you!  In 6 weekly sessions, you will learn step by step the different kinds of perspective, how to create distance in a scene, how perspective creates a focal point and how perspective can make or break a painting.

Gilbert will demonstrate the fundamentals of perspective drawing each class, then work with each student to paint one or more perspectives.  Bring your images or the instructor has several photos you can choose from as reference material.  Students can paint in either watercolor, oil, ink or pencil.
