Plein Air Landscapes in Oils with Jill Banks
July 23 - August 27$475
Jill is reaching way outside the box for this class, so students will enjoy a LOT of flexibility in what they choose to paint. Because this is an online class taught via Zoom – students will need to have access to a reliable and strong enough internet connection to take advantage of the instruction. What to paint can be selected from what’s right outside your door or window to working from photographs or working from a series of videos. Videos will be provided weekly with access through Jill’s website. When working from videos – you’ll need a device (desktop/laptop computer to play that) AND an ipad or cell phone set up, so Jill can see your easel and you can participate in class discussions. But if you don’t have a secondary device, you will just need to use different source material.
This is a very hands-on class and you will get plenty of personal attention plus have access to recorded demos and instructional videos during the class term. I hope you will join me.
This isn’t too relevant for the online class – but Jill still will be teaching tips for painting plein air throughout the class. Packing for an outing is one of those necessities.
