In the creative journaling camp, students will be using a variety of media, such as graphite, colored pencils, ink, acrylic paint and collage on paper. They will be encouraged to follow journal prompts, create from their imagination, set up small still life, copy master drawings, and/ or illustrate a concept or narrative. Emphasis will be placed on freedom of expression and variety of media. Students may work in their journals or large sheets of bristle paper, or both. There will be lots of resource materials available, like reproductions and art magazines, anatomy books and still life objects for a creative good time.
