This class is for the young artist who has successfully completed Beginner Drawing and/or demonstrates a thorough understanding of perspective and proportions.
FORM STUDY Students will be painting in oil focusing on the black and white form study. The subject will be still life and casts of the human figure including heads, features and limbs. Form study hones the students ability to accurately dissemble values as well as develop knowledge about human anatomy and proportion.
$75 Supply Fee paid directly to the instructor
About the Artist Instructor: Our long-time instructor, Michela Mansuino, finished graduate school in June 2017 from Studio Incamminati, an Atelier for the study of humanist realism. Her awards are numerous, including the Maggie Price and Jack Richeson Scholarship Award, the Studio Incamminati Scholarship Award, and the D. Colman Witte Scholarship. Michela continues to teach at The Arts of Great Falls School bringing the graduate school instruction to her youth students. website
